As chief commercial officer, Dahyea played a key role alongside founder Jason Neale and the wider executive team, in delivering the lender’s inaugural £234 million securitisation and its subsequent £278 million transaction, just 10 months later, strengthening the lender’s funding capacity and positioning the business for sustained growth. Over the past year, she has expanded partnerships across major mortgage clubs and networks and driven double-digit growth in intermediary business, reinforcing Quantum’s role in the specialist market.
Dahyea has overseen a series of strategic initiatives, including the launch of new products for larger loans and first-time landlords, preparation for the lender’s entry into bridging finance, and continued diversification within specialist lending. Internally, she built the sales function into the powerhouse it is today, establishing a team designed to support intermediaries with expertise in complex buy-to-let lending. Her intermediary-only model reinforces broker relationships while extending the lender’s reach among professional landlords.
Her broader career spans senior roles at Bluestone Mortgages, Metro Bank and State Bank of India, where she helped launch and shape mortgage propositions that continue to influence the market. She has been repeatedly recognised for her commercial performance and intermediary relationships, including a major network’s BDM of the Year Award for three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020.
Beyond commercial delivery, Dahyea is an active industry voice and mentor, contributing to discussions on the future of specialist lending and supporting emerging female professionals. She is known for her belief that “as you rise in your profession, your voice becomes louder,” and uses that platform to champion better outcomes for brokers, borrowers and colleagues across the specialist mortgage market.
